Since childhood, Louise Beaulieu has always immersed herself in multiple artistic fields from design, composition and color, architectural design, color consulting, and performance arts.
After 35 years of working with live canvases and mentoring young stylists in her business and internationally for companies, Louise has transposed her visions on canvas, wood, and instruments to further explore her creative mind and share the transformation with her clients.
Texture, color contrast, light and moody shadows, play of light and reflections that move through holographic foil applications, elemental water and sky, textured stone effects, all capture the eyes and imagination of her viewers, always telling a story and directing the attention to a focal point.
Louise’s love of historical cities and iconic and spiritual monuments in her travels inspire many of her expressionist works along with her love of string instruments of cello and violas.
As a relatively new “emerging artist” to canvas works, Louise’s impressionistic and sometimes abstract style is greatly influenced by her favourite artist, JMW Turner (1775-1851), known as an impressionist forerunner nicknamed “The Painter of Light”.
Born of a large French Canadian family in eastern Canada, Louise resides in the quaint village of Appleton Ontario on the Mississippi River, where her Studio and Boutique is located.
Because of her vast experience working with people over the years, to customize a design and color, Louise loves doing custom Commissioned work to fit individuals homes and personalities. Her work is collected across Canada in Quebec, Ontario and in tropical Bahamas and presently displayed in her SajeWisdom Boutique as well as ArtworkArchive.com.
